Darkness of symbols on the map corresponds to paleness of the mantle in the respective taxa, which ranges from pale grey (white dots) to dark grey (black), 'mixed' colonies are shown by grey dots. Colours in the pie charts correspond to those in the haplotype phylogeny (Fig. 3).
