Phenotypics:
P10 large mirror, separated from the white tip by broad full subterminal black band. Short pale tongue on underside of P10.
P9 small mirror on innerweb. Black reaches primary coverts.
P8 black (almost) reaches primary coverts.
P5 full broad subterminal band.
P4 no black. Six primaries with black.
Moult: P1-P10 old. Upperparts close to (but just slightly paler than) heuglini. Yellow iris with dense speckling, red only on lower mandible.
