Phenotypics:
P10 large mirror, separated from the white tip by broad full subterminal black band. Medium pale tongue on underside of P10.
P9 no mirror. Black reaches primary coverts.
P8 black (almost) reaches primary coverts.
P5 full broad subterminal band.
P4 full band. P3 and P2 black on outerweb. Nine primaries with black.
Moult: P1-P10 old. Upperparts close to (but just slightly paler than) heuglini. Pretty heavy bill, red seems to be only on lower mandible. Yellow legs.
