Cachinnans - nest Lelystad 032

General remarks:

  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest 032 positioned at breakwater 2, 10 meters east of nest 016.
  • ID 2020 certain, both parents are Caspian Gull cachinnans.
  • Ringed chick quickly after fledging reported from England (click links on thumbnails below).
eggs / pulli May 7th, 2020: 3 eggs clutch. May 21st, 2020: pullus b[F|D]. July 27th, 2020: juvenile b[F|D] in England.
