Cachinnans - nest Lelystad 113

General remarks:

  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest 113 positioned on dam 1 at T split. 6 meters north of nest 53. Birds often grouped together in guarding.
  • ID uncertain in 2022: one may be an immature (4CY) cachinnans, on some dates group of 3 cachinnans present.
