Cachinnans - nest Lelystad 138

General remarks:

  • Eggs: Volume measured by Stonehouse (1964) and Spaans & Spaans (1975), which make comparison possible with data from Texel (Camphuysen pers comm 16.04.2020).
  • Nest 138 positioned on dam 1 eastern part, 80 mtr west of the lighthouse. It has a blue jerrycan ubderneath the nest, on the south side. Nest on top of dam.
  • ID certain in 2022: parents are both sub-adult Caspian Gulls.
location April 27th, 2022: nest location. May 1st, 2022: blue jerrycan on south side. April 19th, 2022: blue jerrycan on south side.

partner 1 April 219th, 2022: partner 1 is sub-adult cachinnans (black in tail). April 19h, 2022: partner 1 is sub-adult cachinnans (no P9 mirror). April 27th, 2022: partner 1 is sub-adult cachinnans.
