C3UY was ringed in Hauho, Finland; ringed as pullus on June 30 2001 by Risto Juvaste. Hand when ringed: 215 mm.

Ringed in Finland, white C3UY. Arrested moult at P8, with the inner primaries third generation and the outer two primaries still old second generation. Note the brown hue on the lesser coverts and inner greater coverts, which contrast strongly with some recently replaced median and lower lesser coverts. The same contrast can be found between the lowest row of the scapulars and the upper scapulars. Note the adult colour of the soft parts but with small black markings on the bill.
