C5S1 was ringed in Tampere, Finland (61,70N 23,79E); ringed as pullus on July 13 1997. Hand when ringed: 280 mm.

Probably a male. Ringed as pullus at Tampere, Finland on July 13 1997, now in 7cy. Typical adult fuscus with a strong mahogany hue on the scapulars. The upper-parts are dark, blackish, grey. The primaries have small white tips, which wear away quickly. Note the very fresh lower tertials and the fresh median coverts.
