Ringed as 3cy at Tampere, Finland on August 11 2001, now in 5cy. Compared to western taxa: adult fuscus with small size, slender bill and dark upper-parts, which turn brown hued when older and worn. Normally fuscus lack any moult in the scapulars, wing-coverts and the primaries, but this individual is missing soem central median coverts. This may be an indication for moult in the inner primaries as well, but that was not judged sufficient in the field in CANN. At least P3-P10 are old. The small white tips on the outer primaries wear away quickly.
