Larus fuscus fuscus 6cy CKA5, August 06-09 2002 & July 12-16 2003, Tampere, Finland (61.33N 24.59).

CKA5 was ringed in Kanala, Finland (61,54N 24,32E); ringed as pullus on July 02 1998. Hand when ringed: 192 mm.

Ringed as pullus at Kanala, Finland on July 02 1998, now in 6cy. Adult fuscus with small size (probably a female), slender bill, dark upper-parts which turn brown hued when older and worn, lack of moult in the scapulars, wing-coverts and the primaries and small white tips on the outer primaries, which wear away quickly. The red spot on the bill obviously extends on the upper mandible.
