Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus) 2T3 2cy, January 28 2012, Hatch Hill Landfill - Augusta, ME. Picture: Louis Bevier.

Ringed as pullus in July 2011, at Appledore Island.

Nichols and Bevier spotted this first cycle GBBG, 2T3, in Augusta at a popular loafing spot for gulls that visit the landfill. 2T3 was banded in July 2011 at Larus Ledge and came from a marked, monitored nest. Only a few lower scaps still juvenile, upper scaps replaced. Also 1x LLC replaced.
