Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus) 3cy: February 04 2003, IJmuiden, the Netherlands (52.27 N, 4.33 E).

Several scapulars and the median coverts are rather plain dark grey. All other coverts show the common pattern for second generation feathers: vermiculated bars which are connected with each other by a clear shaft streak.
