Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus) 4th cycle (4CY), December 20 2014, IJmuiden, the Netherlands.

In general very adult like birds, often with single brown coverts (best seen on underwing as the upperwing is almost equally dark) and most immature birds have pinkish bill with obvious broad bill band. Immature birds have a tendency to develop a little more streaking on head and breast than adults do.
