Adult Herring Gull, moulting to winter (basic) plumage. The newly replaced scapulars and outer median coverts look new and fresh, contrasting with the old lesser and greater coverts. The inner tertials are worn down to their shaft. P1 to P4 are new and fully grown, P5 and P6 have been dropped. PMS=22 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=5, P4=5, P5=1, P6=1, P7=0, P8=0, P9=0, P10=0).

P1 to P3 are new and fully grown, P4 is half grown, P5 has been dropped. The white tips of the outer primaries are worn down to their shaft. PMS=19 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=5, P4=3, P5=1, P6=0, P7=0, P8=0, P9=0, P10=0).
