Ringed as breeding adult (4+cy) on the nest on June 02 2008 at IJmuiden, the Netherlands.

Adult European Herring Gull, moulting to winter plumage (prebasic moult). The head and neck show extensive dark markings which are typical for this "winter" plumage. P6 / P10.
