Bird in 1st pre-basic moult (post-juvenile moult into 1st basic plumage). Flight feathers remain juvenile, but a number of coverts and tertials will be replaced. In this bird, almost all inner wing-coverts are included, and upper tertials are growing. Moult process stillnot finished.
