Ringed Larus fuscus, ringed at Amrum, Odde, in N Germany, the overlap zone of graellsii "Dutch intergrade" and intermedius. Ring info: ringed as pullus June 30, 2007, Amrum, Germany. Metal ring: Helgoland N006485.

P3 fully grown, P4-P5 missing. Left rectrices more advanced than right tail-feathers.

P8 is being shed in the left wing. P1 to P5 are new and fully grown, P6 is mostly grown, P7 is growing. In the right wing, P8 is still present.
PMS = 18. P1-P3 fully grown.

P5 fully grown, P6 almost as long as P5. P8 just falling in the left wing.

P8 is being shed in the left wing. P1 to P5 are new and fully grown, P6 is mostly grown, P7 is growing. In the right wing, P8 is still present.
PMS left wing: 31 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=5, P4=5, P5=5, P6=4, P7=1, P8=1, P9=0, P10=0).
PMS right wing: 30 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=5, P4=5, P5=5, P6=4, P7=1, P8=0, P9=0, P10=0).

P6 fully grown left, P7 fully grown right.

Fourth-calendar year Lesser Black-backed Gull, moulting to fourth-winter plumage (fourth cycle, fourth prebasic moult). Two weeks later now, P6 is now fully grown and P7 is mostly grown. The outer secondary S1 is now fully grown, while S2 and S3 have been shed. The greater coverts are also fully grown and now fully cover the white base of the secondaries (which were still exposed 2 weeks ago). Moult in the tail is underway as well.
PMS = 35 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=5, P4=5, P5=5, P6=5, P7=4, P8=1, P9=0, P10=0).
