Photo 10: 2cy LBBG, July 7 2001, IJmuiden, the Netherlands.

This bird represents the most common moult strategy and moult stage of local 2cy LBBG in the Netherlands by early July. It's a barred type (for explanation of types in 2cy, see May 2cy LBBG Section), although fresh scapulars are plain grey third generation feathers. The tail is still juvenile. The left wing can be viewed in the image, in the right wing tertial #1 is missing, #2-5 are 2nd generation and #6 is juvenile. P4 is growing, p5 is still juvenile.
