Lesser Black-backed Gull (graellsii & intermedius)

Ringed at the Sluizen, IJmuiden, 10-07-04. This bird has replaced several coverts: greater covert #4 is growing, median covert #4 is new, #5 is growing, #6-7 are new and #13 has a different pattern compared to adjacent feathers. New feathers in the scapular region are not at a place where you would expect to find new feathers: one of the lower scapulars in the lower row has a pattern similar to the new wing-coverts. There also seems to be at least one missing lower scapular.
