Ringed graellsii, ringed in N Germany in the Helgoland-Amrum colonies. These colonies fall in the transition zone between continental graellsii "Dutch intergades" and Scandinavian intermedius. PVC yellow H.560 ringed at Amrun/Norddorf, Quermarkenfeuer (54º40´N/8º 19´E) on 01 July 2007, as pullus by Sönke Martens (S.Martens at KH-Itzehoe.de).

1cy. Tertials and wing-coverts juvenile. US: 1-25%, LS 0%, TOT SCAPS 1-25% 2nd gen.

2cy. Scapulars, tertials and wing-coverts are a mix of adult-like grey and barred 2nd gen like feathers.

3cy. Scapulars moult has continued (probably at low pace) now resulting in a grey saddle. Tertials and wing-coverts are a bit messy, but probably no difference compared to the previous image.
