This British graellsii (ringed in the U.K.) shows the typical plumage for graellsii in spring: a grey saddle (scapulars) contrasting with the brown wing coverts. There are no grey adult-like tertials. Soft parts still immature with the bill showing an obvious black bill-band, lacking bright red on the gonys. The legs are still pale pink. All visible secondaries and primaries still old 2nd generation.
