Lesser Black-backed Gull graellsii SY6 > NJ 17CY & 19CY, May 2013 and May 2015, Katwijk, the Netherlands.

Ringed as pullus on July 01 1997 at Europoort - Maasvlakte, the Netherlands.

Green SY6 is a rooftop breeder nowadays in the coastal municipality of Katwijk, the Netherlands. Previous years present at the roof of a local police office, this year breeding on a 4-floors appartments building Tortellaan. Bird trapped at the nest and old ring replaced for new green tibia JN, and black tibia on other leg.

P1 new, P2 missing.

Interesting: P1-P2 new, P3-P10 old. Compare to very old P1-P2 in May, few months ago.

Still black on primary coverts, but note sharp borders, not diffuse as in immatures. Black on P3-P10, mirror on P9-P10. Black nail on bill, red not reaching upper mandible, few spots in iris.
