LBBG female 8cy EH79, May 12 2002, Missouriweg, Maasvlakte, the Netherlands (51.59N,04.02E).

A bird ringed July 10 1995 at the nest at Maasvlakte, now in it's 7th summer.

LBBG adult EH79, April 16 2001 & April 06 2003, Missouriweg Maasvlakte, the Netherlands.

An adult, ringed at Maasvlakte as pullus at the nest, July 10 1995. Now in sixth summer (7cy) plumage by 2001 and in 9cy by 2003.
By the elegant impression, probably a female.
Here the difference between recently moulted coverts and old coverts and scapulars is not as clear as in other individuals. This adult lacks the characteristic strong brown hue in the old feathers. The easiest clues to recognize old unmoulted feathers are the worn fringes of the feathers. The primaries have large white tips and look very neat.

EH79 was seen in the Estremadura, Portugal March 23 1998. It's not clear whether the entire winter was spent at this place or it was just a stop-over.
As is commonly seen in choice of breeding places, this individual EH79 was seen at exactly the same spot as where it was breeding in previous years.
