LBBG EAY0 15cy, female, April 29 2002, Missouriweg - Maasvlakte, the Netherlands (51.59N,04.02E).

Ringed EAY0 left orange. Ringed as an adult at the nest at Maasvlakte June 9 1997. Originally ringed 1988 as pullus at the nest in the U.K., just north of Harwich (BTO ring GG56168). As the crow flies, from the Maasvlakte this is the nearest colony in the U.K. In this colony several ringed LBBGs from the Maasvlakte have been rediscovered and the mantle tone of these LBBGs resemble Dutch intergrades.
EAY0 is a very interesting code, not only as it is a relocated British bird, it also proved to be a code used twice... One time for this female with a BTO ring on the other leg, and one time in another bird, male without another metal ring!

LBBG EAY0 male, May 12 2001, Dintelhaven Maasvlakte, the Netherlands (51.59N,04.02E).

Ringed EAY0 left orange. Probably ringed as an pullus at the nest at Maasvlakte July 1997 and now in 5cy. Note the older brown hued feathers in the coverts and scapulars.

Lesser Black-backed Gull graellsii EAY0 15cy, March 18 2002, Missouriweg, Maasvlakte, the Netherlands (51.59N,04.02E).

The same adult ringed, left orange EAY0. Note the head moult around the eye and the faint black mark on the upper mandible.
