LBBG 12cyR60, May 13 2002, EMO, Maasvlakte, the Netherlands (51.59N,04.02E).

Ringed at the Maasvlakte as pullus, July 06 1991 near the current breeding spot. These white rings are the oldest rings from the Maasvlakte ring project, which started in 1990. This individual is a dominant male, holding territory in one of the earlier colonies. Competition is very severe in the EMO colony, including egg predation of neighboring LBBG nests. Ring data revealed that LBBG return to the (almost) same breeding location year after year.
