A Norwegian intermedius LBBG, ringed NOS 4105943, present in Amsterdam in mid-summer. Moult score advanced, as all scapulars, all wing-coverts and tertials have been replaced once by July, probably most feathers included in the moult at the wintering grounds. The tail-feathers seem to be retained juvenile, as are the outer primaries and secondaries.
After returning in NW Europe, the complete moult started and by early July, P1-P5 are fully grown second generation, P6 is growing, P7 is missing and P8-P10 are still juvenile. Together with the primary moult, wing-coverts are moulted as well, and the gap in the central greater coverts is obvious in the right wing.
