American Herring Gull banded green alphanumeric 69C. An 'Appledore Gull' banded on Appledore Island, Maine on July 20, 2014, a 'B' chick from nest 14H278. First sighting since banding. One later report from January 31, 2015 at Cedar Bayou Channel, Harris County, Texas (observed by Mark Bartosik).

Scaps replaced, but coverts and tertials still juvenile. Several loci of the body feathers replaced as well, new feathers appear darker and greyish, contrasting with the old faded brown juvenile body feathers. Replaced feathers can be found in neck, breast and flanks.
