White-eyed Gull L. leucophthalmus 1CY, November 26 2010, Eilat, Israel. Picture: Avi Meir.

Note broad dark tail band and brown overall coloration. Bird very fresh, which could be explained by the late nesting period for this taxon. The origin of Isrealian birds is most probably Tiran Island, where nesting normally starts in August throughout September. Adults with young pulli can be seen in September, see HERE.
