Yellow-legged Gull michahellis 1CY HES M.016635 November 05-10 2010, Westkapelle, the Netherlands. Picture: Ies Meulmeester.

Ringed michahellis from Switzerland: data pending but probably from Fanel (46.58.58N, 007.02.11E), Switzerland, ringed in May 2010.

Typical example of a 1CY Yellow-legged Gull from Switzerland. Note the dark streaking on the head, breast and especially the woolly streaked hind-neck. Nearly all scapulars except some lower ones are moulted to second generation feathers, wing-coverts and tertials are still juvenile.
