Note the primary moult stage: P10 is old second generation and P6 full-grown. This individual has nearly finished the complete moult in the wing-coverts, as the gaps in the greater coverts bar (normally greater coverts #7-#8) are fully grown, but the last lesser coverts in the carpal edge and the upper row have not been replaced yet.
