Yellow-legged Gull michahellis adult, July 11 2002, Etaples, France (50.44N,01.35E).

Adult with at least P6-P10 old, probably also P5 old, but MC shed. Note the other old wing-coverts which are all abraded at the fringes and note the moult of the head-feathers, creating a bare part around the eye, making the red orbital ring very conspicuous. The red spot on the lower mandible extends on the upper mandible.
