Barabensis class II 1st winter.

This individual resembles the previous one, although it’s a little behind in moult stage. The inner median coverts have been shed, exposing the white bases of the inner juvenile greater coverts (as in image 1). As seen in other 2cy barabensis as well, thge upper tertials were included in the post juvenile moult last autumn. The fresh lowest lower scapulars (probably second generation) have a rather plain pattern: an accentuated dark shaft streak on a grey-based feather.
