Mew Gull from east Asia, at King's Beach along Lynn Shore Drive at the Lynn / Swampscott line. Initially found by Suzanne Sullivan with a 2nd found a few days later. This gull is usually found breeding in Alaska / Northern Canada, Europe & Asia with the north American population wintering along the western coastline. Note the relative dark grey upperparts when compared to the Ring-billed Gull. Overall size obviously more bulky than American race brachyrhynchus. Head streaking not smooth and mottle, but rather really streaked and spotted.
