Classic winter bird: fine streaking on head, most white in neck and side of breast, dark iris, black on bill in winter, large mirror on P10.

Mew Gull in winter, note very dark iris, band on bill, bill colour rather greenish yellow, not vivid, same for leg colour, very delicate 'pencil streaking' on head, concentrated on crown and not in hindneck or running down to sides of breast, much white in wingtip with very large mirror on P10 and large mirror on P9.
