Ringed three weeks ago, on December 04 2010, at Oostersluis, Groningen, The Netherlands as 3cy. Mew Gull in its third calendar year in full winter (basic) plumage. Unfortunately, it suffers from a broken leg on which it was not able to stand; this was also the reason why it was not fitted with a color ring. Based on the measurements taken when it was ringed, this individual was identified as a Russian Mew Gull.
