Mew Gull canus SVS 7204359 4cy-8cy, December 2011 - February 2015, Le-Touquet / Boulogne, France. Picture: Jean-Michel Sauvage.

This gull was seen previously on November 11 2011 but the code was not read completely. Fortunately, many Mew Gulls are very faithful to the wintering site, and there was a chance to see the bird again. That happened on December 02 2011 in Le Touquet. It proved to be difficult to photograph a metal ring that consists of 7 figures, especially as the sun was absent. In total it took 80 shots for this result.

This bird was ringed Stockholm, SVS 7204359, controlled at Touquet, Pas de Calais, France on 02.12.2011.

Ringed 03.07.2010 in thrid plumage (3cy), at Skane, Malmö, Spillepeng, Sweden (55º38'N 13º03'E).
Distance traveled: 952 Km.
