The head feathers on crown and nape are heavily worn by August. In many adults the orbital ring is coral red, but here it's slightly orange. The red spot on the gonydeal angle does not exceed to the upper mandible, as is the case in the majority of the adults (but in some adults, the cutting edge of the upper mandible is red as well, see this individual).
