Slender-billed Gulls (L. genei) adult, harbour of Manama, end of February 2001.

Three images of different Slender-billed Gulls. Leg colour and bill colour deep coral red, bill almost blackish, with reddish base. The bird in the top image still shows a hint of a dark spot on the rear ear-coverts, a vestige of the "winter" plumage. The two birds in the bottom pictures developed a pink cast on the breast and belly and the legs are deep coral red.
