Depending on whether the inner primaries were renewed at the winter quarters or in Europe, CHJ9, from Kuhmalahti, is comparable to either CRK4 or CJC9 concerning moult. Between 11 and 24 June, it has dropped P4-5. The moult gap seen at the latter date is rather big for fuscus, e.g. compare to CJJR or CYHP. By August, all juvenile rectrices and secondaries have been dropped and new second generation feathers have appeared or are still growing. The juvenile P10 still is present, P1-6 are fully grown and P7-8 are growing.
