Blue J7N5 is a 2cy intermedius is from Klovholmene, S Norway (50.42 N, 01.34 E). It is smaller and more slender than the average graellsii, but a similar moult stage and feather patterns are found in this taxon. In particular, the new wing coverts have a rather heavy anchor type pattern. All scapulars have been replaced at least once, but juvenile feathers are found in all wing covert tracts. The tail and remiges too are juvenile. P6-10 are juvenile, P1-2 are fully grown. The central rectrices have been shed.
