Ringed as breeding adult (4+cy) on the nest on 11 May 2009 at IJmuiden, The Netherlands.
Adult European Herring Gull moulting to winter (basic) plumage. Because the inner primaries P5 and P6 have been dropped and the new feathers are far from fully grown, P7 is fully visible. PMS=23 (P1=5, P2=5, P3=5, P4=4, P5=3, P6=1, P7=0, P8=0, P9=0, P10=0).
