History for adult Herring Gulls YCKP & YBAU. Nestbox placed close to nest for shelter of chicks. Timeline for this chick:

June 26 2023:
Ring 5.623.240 + g-YDRC. Offspring YBAU & YCKP? Yes, confirmed by previous alu-ring.
Ring 5.623.241 + g-YDRU. Offspring YBAU & YCKP? Yes, confirmed by previous alu-ring.
Metal ring NLA 5.623.242, no darvic ring for this unringed small chick that hided in the nest box. Origin uncertain, may belong to this nest, but not excluded this is "a free running chick that found a place to hide".

July 10 2023:
g-YDRC, g-YDRU and metal ringerd bird present. Metal ringed bird is smallest.
g-YBAU & g-YCKP parents also present.

July 17 2023:
Metal ring NLA 5.623.242 near waterline, present with father g-YCKP.

In retrospect: confirmation this chick has parents g-YBAU & g-YCKP.
