Ringed as pullus in breeding season 2015 at Forteiland, IJmuiden. Ringed by Fred Cottaar ringing team.

Moult-wise, close to classic graellsii, with grey saddle, brown wing-coverts and almost all flight feathers 2nd generation. However, in winter a subsequent moult involved central tail-feathers and inner wing-coverts.
Complete moult started, with P1-P2 missing, P3-P10 old 2nd gen.
