Ringed as pullus in breeding season 2021 at Forteiland, IJmuiden. Ringed by Fred Cottaar ringing team.

Mother is g-Y.CLD, which is an offspring of g-Y.CAF; which itself is a presumed hybrid Lesser Black-backed Gull x Yellow-legged Gull and has slightly paler mantle than average birds in the colony.
Hybrid g-Y.CAF had a (presumed) pure LBBG as partner and produced offspring g-Y.CLD in 2017. Then, g-Y.CLD again had a (presumed) pure LBBG as partner, and produced offspring g-Y.DJX in 2021, watering down the hybrid influences.
