Ringed as pullus in breeding season 2024 at Forteiland, IJmuiden. Ringed by Fred Cottaar ringing team.
Metal ringed NLA 5.633.258 on May 31 2024 (age is 2 days +/- 1 day), still a very small chick in Herring Gull nest g-YDBX. Colour ring G-YFCM added on July 08 (age is 40 days +/- 1 day).
Mass=816, H+B=102.0, wing=305.
As metal ringed bird, believed to be part of the
YDBX family, hence a Herring Gull. When controlled on July 8th, plumage more in line with Lesser Black-backed Gull, albeit with pale spots on outer webs.
