The upper tertials, medians and inner greater coverts were replaced recently. The tail is still juvenile. The scapulars are either plain brown or brown based with a black centre. There are many dark marking on the under-parts and head. The lower tertial is still juvenile and the outer greater coverts are missing, exposing the old juvenile secondaries. P8 is still juvenile and the primary moult score is 27 (average for LBBG by early July).
