Some birds show an unclear moult-stage and have possibly moulted the majority of the wing coverts to 3^rd generation. This bird has probably moulted all visible wing coverts (except the 3^rd median covert?) and most tertials to 3^rd generation. Despite this moult-stage, the bird looks still quite immaturely and certainly not 'older' than for instance the bird in photo 4.
