LBBG 4cy Dutch intergrade NLA 5.411.538, September 02 2003, Westkapelle, the Netherlands (51°33'0''N, 3°25'0''E)

4cy LBBG with P8-P10 still old and P5 already fully grown. All rectrices still old. This bird was ringed in the Netherlands on 27 July 2003 at Surhuisterveen, Friesland as 4cy. Together with the primary moult, moult in the wing-coverts has started as well and the differences between the old brown and new grey feathers are obvious in the bottom image. The scapulars are a mix of old brown and new dark grey feathers. Note the pale yellow, somewhat pinkish base of the bill.
