LBBG intermedius SVS 8099xxx, September 26 2003, IJmuiden, the Netherlands (51°33'0''N, 3°25'0''E)

Adult LBBG intermedius ringed in Sweden, Stockholm 8099xxx. P6-P10 still old and all rectrices still old and worn. The bill is yellow, with black on both upper and lower mandible. The red gonydeal spot is confined to the lower mandible. The white-yellow iris shows fine speckling and the orbital ring is red. This Swedish adult has a very small mirror on P9 (both on inner and outer-web and large mirror on P10. Note the warm brown hue on the old wing-coverts and the snowy white head. There are no moult gaps in the wing-coverts; moult has been suspended.
