A sub-adult LBBG, with arrested primary moult. On the wintering grounds, the inner primaries were included in the partial moult. This moult didn't involve all the primaries; it was arrested at P6, leaving a clear division between P6 and P7. This individula recently started its complete moult. P1-P2 are growing, P3-P6 were replaced in the partial moult and about half a year old, the outer primaries P7-P10 are about one year old. As can be expected, moult in the wing-coverts mirrors this low primary moult score, with the outer median coverts still present (the first replaced wing-coverts in the ordinary sequence).
